anuary 29, 2009 - According to Gamasutra , the annual games Convention at Leipzig, Germany is no more. The successful public and private trade show found competition last year when organizers in Cologne announced the GamesCom event. Leipzig Trade Fair CEO Wolfgang Marzin vowed that the games Convention would forge on and free psp game  months of jockeying ensued. GamesCom has won out with today's cancellation of the Leipzig show.



In place of Games Convention, the Leipzig organizers have announced Games Convention Online which will take place July 31 to August 2. This event will follow the same format as past Games Conventions, but will focus on browser, client and mobile games. It will have public and private business areas at the convention center as well as an online event that people from all over the world can access for all.



Marzin delivered this statement on the new Games free psp game Convention Online, "We will be combining the real fair, that is, the offline event, with an online event. This means that millions of gamers are linked in on the internet and can take part in the Games Convention Online in Leipzig live. The Games Convention Online will host tens of thousands of visitors in Leipzig, and several million in the whole world."
